Very sorry to hear that. The system worked more smoothly in my friend’s case. I would suggest calling the official helpline again. If still no luck, maybe your local councillor or even MP could help? You could also try calling the Age UK advice line on 0800 678 1602.

I rang again 3 weeks ago and they confrimed the e-mail had been sent. Still nothing. My husband will be 85 in April 23
