Thanks, Sam. Yes, it worries me when I see people going into matched betting with unrealistic expectations, as they are almost certainly heading for disappointment (or worse). Used correctly, it’s a great extra income stream, though.

Thanks for the comment. We are clearly of one mind on this subject! Yes, I should really have mentioned about gubbing as well. For those who don’t know, this is when a bookmaker restricts your access to special offers and promotions. It is an occupational hazard for matched bettors and almost inevitably over time it will happen with one or more of your bookmaker accounts. Being gubbed makes it even harder to go on generating profits, of course. I have ‘lost’ about six bookmaker accounts through gubbing.

I couldn’t agree with you more. It is more difficult to make money on the reloads as allot of them are just refunds. Then of course you can get gubbed eventually by some bookies so that means you can’t earn as much Like you I don’t touch the casino offers unless they are risk free. I am not prepared to keep losing money on risky casino offers in the hope of winning big. Risk free is what is best.
