Thanks, Jenny. I’ve thought about getting a smart doorbell but not done it yet. I did have a security camera but had to disconnect it because it kept generating false alarms (even a random sunbeam could set it off). It is of course possible to have CCTV in conjunction with the Boundary system, but in my opinion cameras and smart doorbells aren’t really sufficient on their own. They might provide useful evidence that helps catch the culprits if you are burgled, but even that is by no means guaranteed (burglars generally know enough to hide their faces). A good smart alarm system such as Boundary will let you know the instant your home is broken into, with almost no chance of false alerts. And the 95-decibel siren is a pretty good deterrent as well!
