Thanks for your comment, David. Obviously my experience of winning the Free Postcode Lottery has made me view free lotteries in a more favourable light. I know from direct personal experience that people do win these lotteries and receive the advertised prizes. Of course, the prizes aren’t as big as the paid-for lotteries, but there is no cost either (apart from your time). That’s why I still check them most days, whereas I haven’t entered the National Lottery since the very first draw!

I don’t suppose that there is anything to lose in playing these especially with the winnings coming from support ad revenue, though guess I’m like many that feel sceptical about something for nothing.
