Thanks, Erica. Yes, it’s a clever idea and a popular one among investors. There are undoubtedly risks in all forms of investing, but it is not the same as gambling. You would have to be very unlucky indeed to lose all your money. For one thing, everyone can (and should) set a stop loss limiting the maximum they can lose by following any particular trader. And platform failure is covered up to £85,000 under the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS), of course.
