Thanks, Caz. Ah yes, I see. I hadn’t got around to completing that page of my profile yet. If you click on the question mark in a circle next to it, it says they need your NI number for legal reasons before they can pay you. I guess that’s legitimate, though I am pretty sure I have been paid by other sideline-earning opportunities without providing this. Maybe they are being extra careful, though.

Personally I don’t mind providing my NI number or photo ID, as I’ve had to do this before for P2P investment platforms. But I can understand if you are a bit wary. It’s odd, half the time it reroutes to a different looking site and all in a different language after I log in. When I can finally get to where I need to be, the profile needs updating in order to apply for any assignments. I noticed this when trying to apply for that task Jon highlighted in the Moneyshed email. I’ve just uploaded a screenshot for you. It’s in the profile > Become a Crowder’ section. It also wants a photo ID! Now, call me cynical but I don’t feel too comfortable giving them my NI and driving licence/passport…! Hi Caz. It’s a while since I signed up but I’m pretty sure they didn’t ask me for my NI number. Are you sure about this? If so, it does seem odd. If you like I’ll ask my contact there about it.
