Thanks, Rebecca. Yes, it was a stressful few days, though to be honest there are plenty worse places I could have been marooned! And yes, September was a bad month for equity investments generally, but I don’t see any need to panic.

I’ve never invested in stocks before and I must admit it seems like a minefield for me. Good tip for new investors about not panicking and giving things time to recover rather than sell up and take the loss.
