Many thanks, Katy. I love North Wales, and there is actually a lot more I could have said about the area in particular, but you have to draw the line somewhere!

Thanks also for your kind comment about my photo from the top of Snowdon. I was very lucky with the weather (and visibility) that day.

And yes, those Forest Retreats are certainly compact. I suppose it’s a bit like camping, but I’m a bit beyond the age of wanting to do that either!
