September 2021 was a disappointing month for my Nutmeg investments too. To be fair, the same applies to most other equity-based investments, with stock markets across the world unsettled for a range of reasons. While I’m not allowed to give personal financial advice, as it says in the article linked to above, I strongly advise against panicking. All equity-based investments have their ups and downs, but in the longer term (over at least a five-year period) they have nearly always outperformed cash. Withdrawing your money now will simply crystallize your losses, whereas if you stay invested you will be able to benefit when (as I expect) the markets get back on a more even keel.
