Thanks, Caz. I do hope you do get the opportunity to enjoy a holiday this year. The Lake District is lovely and I definitely intend to go back sometime. It’s just a shame it’s such a long and unappealing drive (for me anyway) to get there. Wales is great as well, though 🙂

I think staying in the UK is a more comfortable idea than going abroad after everything that has been going on, and the challenges with Brexit, cost of living crisis, Covid etc. I’m still not “back to normal” Covid-wise so I’m not sure I could go somewhere else to stay. It’s weird. I feel like I’m the only one still to clean things and constantly wash my hands etc, but I know I can’t be.

I’ve never been to any of the places listed here. I really need to live more! I’ve always liked the idea of going to the Lake District though, so many one day..! Anywhere really would do right now just to get away from the day to day and have a break. Fab suggestions! x
