As an investor you get an income stream from rent (paid as monthly, quarterly or annual dividends) and also potentially a capital gain when the property is sold. 

There can be ups and downs, e.g. I got no income from one property for a year after a rogue tenant left without paying any rent and did his best to trash the place. However, all investments are secured against bricks and mortar, so it is very unlikely you would lose your whole investment. Overall, in the three years I have been a property crowdfunding investor, I have made an excellent net return from it.]]></description>
